Noblesville High School Band students are eligible to earn awards for participation in the following groups:
Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard & Pep Band.
Letterman's Jackets - Are ordered from The Band Shop once a year during the fall.

Band Department Patch
Successful completion of year 1 in the NHS Band Department. Given at the final awards banquet of the year to all first year students.
Chevron Patch
Successful completion of year 1 in any of the 6 performance groups (Concert, Jazz, Marching, NIPE, Winter Guard or Pep)
Letter
Successful completion of 3 years in any combo of groups. Example: 1 year concert, 1 year marching, 1 year pep
OR 3 years concert.
Graduation Numbers
Awarded at the completion of sophomore year.
Gold Bar Pin
Successful completion of year 2 in any of the 6 performance groups (Concert, Jazz, Marching, NIPE, Winter Guard or Pep). To be placed on the appropriate Chevron Patch.
Special Patches & Rockers
Special patches are awarded for achievement at momentous events like ISSMA State Finals and BOA Super Regionals. Rocker patches accompany special patches to showcase year and/or placement in contests.
