In this final edition of the marching band newsletter I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your contributions this season. It takes a village to make this happen, and it couldn't happen without you. We are a team, and I have so much love & respect for each and every one of you. Thank you for your part in making this historic season so successful! I was sitting next to a spectator at regionals that was clearly a marching band geek like me. He was marveling over Noblesville's success with field show in such a short time competing, and it made me consider all that the program has accomplished. We are competing in a group of Grand National finalists and champions that have decades of experience in field show. Noblesville has had five competitive seasons of field show. Five seasons. We have made state finals three times and BOA super regionals finals twice. That is absolutely epic. The dedication of former and current students, amazing staff, and incredible family support have made this possible. I can't wait to see what comes next for this exceptional program!

BOA Grand Nationals Prelims - Thursday, November 14th at 2:45 pm

BOA GRAND NATIONALS
The Marching Millers will make their first ever appearance at BOA Grand Nationals this weekend! This event is a BOA event like our recent super regionals competition. Bands from all over the country will be competing for the title of Grand National Champion.
There are three rounds for this competition. Preliminaries are November 14th-15th. Semi-finalists will be announced at 9:00 PM Friday 11/15. There are generally 30 semi-finalists. Semi-finals will take place Saturday morning and early afternoon. If we make semi-finals, watch the Band App closely for details and report times on Saturday - it might be an early one! 12 finalists are announced Saturday afternoon and finals take place Saturday evening.

Prelims - Thursday, November 14th at 2:45 PM at Lucas Oil
Semi-finalist announcements - Friday, November 15th at 9:00 PM
Semi-finals competition - Saturday, November 16th 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Finalist announcements - Saturday, November 16th at 4:45 PM
Thursday Things To Bring:
The students will be dropped off by the busses Thursday afternoon at Lucas Oli. They should bring a SMALL WELL MARKED bag with a change of clothes. The busses will need to return to school immediately after drop off to run afternoon routes, so the schedule after performing is a little different than usual. After performing, students will change out of uniform and head back in to Lucas Oil to watch other bands. They are welcome to visit concessions. Busses will return to pick students up at 7:00 PM. Please have your student bring:
A small WELL MARKED bag with a change of clothes. This bag will be loaded onto an alternate truck, returned to school. and unloaded before students arrive. It needs to be very easy for the students to find.
If they want to take a bag into Lucas Oil after performing, they need to adhere to the clear bag policy.
A card for concessions payment (Lucas Oli is cashless) if they want concessions.

Check your emails (including spam folders) for invoice reminders from Noblesville Band Boosters. All marching band fees are PAST DUE. You can always see the most up to date balance by opening the invoice email and clicking the link to view your invoice.

BANQUET
We will “come together” to celebrate our amazing season at the marching band banquet! Join us on November 20th at 6:30 PM in the NHS cafeteria to eat some cake and celebrate the season!
AWARDS AND PATCHES
Many people have been asking about patches and awards. All of the information about how/when a student earns awards is on the band website awards page. At the bottom of the awards page are two helpful links: buy a lost patch/pin and inquire about a patch that was never received. Sarah Scholl or Gretchen Horne will reach out regarding any ordered or overlooked awards.
